MARK HOOPER

Mark is an award-winning editor, author, journalist, copywriter and brand strategy consultant.

He is the author of two books, The Story of Tools and The Great British Tree Biography.

He was the founding editor of two magazines, Hole & Corner and electric!;
He was formerly deputy editor of i-D magazine, and associate editor of both, Arena and Esquire. In TV, he was the editor, of channel4.com/music.
He has also contributed to many publications: Harvard University Graduate School of Design, Wallpaper, Wired, House Notes, Robb Report, The Guardian, The Observer, The Times.
Other roles include being an editorial consultant for Bang & Olufsen, being the Editor at Large, London, theimpression.com, and was lead copywriter for Bill Amberg Studio and Setag yachts.

He wouldn’t have met co-host Des Without the Beatles! Back in 1998, Des was making a pilot for ITV about Paul McCartney. Des liked Mark’s written work and asked him to appear in the pilot as a commentator.
