THE BEATLES PODCAST THAT ASKS THE BIG WHAT IF?

Without the Beatles Trailer

We’ve had a few technical difficulties making sure the podcast is on all the platforms
it’s supposed to be, so these first episodes were delayed a little, but should be back on track by Oct 10.

In the meantime - Without the Beatles. What’s it all about Alfie?

New episode every month - plus lots of standalone features on our YouTube Channel @withoutthebeatles

Sir Michael Palin, Sir David Attenborough, Klaus Voorman, Mary Quant, Neil Innes, Tony Bramwell, Geoff Baker,
Ed Sexton, Barbara Dickson, Al Jardine, Kevin Godley, Lol Creme, Eric Stewart, Graham Gouldman, Steve Van Zandt, Don Randi, Sir Willy Russell, George Costigan, Richie Sambora, Tony Palmer, Nancy Sinatra, Ian Broudie, John Leckie, Diane Warren, Lemmy, Terry Gilliam, Andy Patridge, Dick Clement and Ian Le Frenais, John Lloyd, Galton and Simpson, Simon Napier Bell, and many more discuss how the Beatles influenced them and the world.

Each hour-long episode is co-hosted by highly experienced journalist/writer/directors, Mark (The Face, i-D, Guardian)
and Des (BBC, The Times), with additional content from fans who have also had their lives changed by The Beatles.

Our stated mission is to persuade the two surviving Beatles on the show:
Ringo to talk about how he could not have founded the Lotus Foundation,
and Paul to talk about how he could not have become the world’s most famous vegetarian
- even they could not have done it without the Beatles giving them a platform.
Neither Paul nor Ringo have so far appeared on a fan podcast, so join us in trying to make that happen -
and have some fun along the way.
Let us know if you want to join that particular campaign!

About your co-hosts

I’ve seen The Beatles as teachers/mentors since I
was a kid. But as a writer,
I do think they have the best plotline I’ve ever read.
Looking forward to exploring this world with Mark and our brilliant guests.

I can’t remember a time The Beatles weren’t in my life or soundtracking my day. The first time I was conscious of them was hearing my dad sing Two of Us with his friend at a barbecue.
